Anwar Chitrakar
Anwar Chitrakar is a traditional patua artist trained in the 19th century Kalighat style of painting. He has developed his own individualistic style that combines the traditional style with contemporary style. Anwar has won the West Bengal State award, the National Award and the Presidents Award amongst others.
