Shipping and Delivery
General Information
Our aim is to get your purchase to you quickly and safely, so it reaches you in perfect condition, even as we attempt to minimize waste. All our products are shipped through major courier companies.
All our products are handmade and made-to-order and dispatch times for these ranges from 15-20 days. Some of the work that is more intricate, involves lengthy process steps, may require additional time depending on the craft, artist availability, remote location and weather conditions. You may check the same with us at the time of placing the order by contacting us on customercare@merikatha.com or by messaging us on our watsapp number +91 9310223773. In all the cases we keep you updated about the progress of the artwork in process.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details for the shipment.

Domestic Orders
Shipping is free on all our products within India ( except for woodcrafts, pottery, terracota, metal craft, stone craft, Kaavi, Tikuli ) unless special packing / shipping are required. For heavier or fragile crafts like wordcraft, pottery, terracotta, metal craft, stone craft, Kaavi etc shipping is charged extra and is calculated on per kg basis.You may check the same with us at the time of placing the order by contacting us on customercare@merikatha.com or by messaging us on our watsapp number +91 9310223773.
Delivery timeline for domestic orders is appx 3-4 weeks. This includes the product making time of about 2-3 weeks.
International Orders
A flat shipping charge of ₹4,000 applies to international artwork orders. ( except for woodcrafts, pottery, terracota, metal craft, stone craft, Kaavi, Tikuli )
- Some countries levy additional import duties and/or taxes on art and other goods. The buyer will be solely responsible for paying any such additional charges levied by the destination country, as also for any other duties, taxes or other charges applicable on export of art from India. These fees must be paid by you directly to the courier company. Unfortunately, we are unable to calculate or estimate these levies, as they vary by country and are subject to change.
- Shipping rates for woodcrafts, pottery, terracota, metal craft, stone craft, Kaavi, Tikuli will be calculated based on weight.
Delivery time for international orders is appx 15-20 after dispatch. It may vary due to customs clearances/restrictions or courier related issues.
Delays
We do our best to ensure that a lovingly and patiently made artwork is dispatched to you at the earliest but there may be delay in delivery of your products due to unforeseen circumstances like bad weather, artist requiring extra time due to health or family related issues. In all the cases, we will keep you updated. We depend on your kindness to understand such scenarios and help us out with little patience. :)
